The Muay Thai Institute & Fitness Center is the most complete Thai kickboxing facility in Utah. And while we are hands down the place to go if you want high level fight-prep training, we are also a full service gym with a friendly, community, “all-local” atmosphere.
We have a well rounded training program, personalized nutritional counseling, dedicated certified personal trainers, free weights, yoga, cardio, pilates & self defense classes as well fun and challenging programs for kids.

Muay Thai Kick Boxing
Muay Thai is referred to as "The Art of Eight Limbs", as the hands (closed weapon), shins, elbows, and knees are all used extensively in this art. A practitioner of Muay Thai ("nak muay") thus has the ability to execute strikes using eight "points of contact," as opposed to "two points" (fists) in Western boxing and "four points" (fists, feet) used in the primarily sport-oriented forms of martial arts.
