Aerobics Classes

Aerobic exercise is any extended activity that makes you breathe hard while using the large muscle groups at a regular, even pace. Aerobic activities help make your heart stronger and more efficient. During the early part of exercise, your body uses stored carbohydrate and circulating fatty acids (the building blocks of fat molecules) for energy.

The Muay Thai Institute offers the following classes:

Thai Box

Maximize your cardiovascular output by learning and utilizing Thai Boxing techniques. Hand wraps, bag gloves, and heavy bags are your tools; your body is the weapon!

Jump & Jab

Take cardio to an extreme level. Combine Thai Boxing techniques with jump roping and strength training. Safe for the beginner, yet challenging enough for the fighter.

Boot Camp

Combine cardio and core strength training. The addition of plyometrics, speed combinations, and power moves can make this class quite intense.

Body Pump

Take your weight workout up a notch with this muscular endurance class. Barbells are used with weight choices suitable for the first-time weight lifter, and a definite challenge for the experienced.

Yoga

Classes accommodate beginner and intermediate students. This class focuses on enhancing your flexibility while assisting with control, balance, and strength. A great sequel to cardio or resistance training.
